Argentine Sommelier
Paz Levinson
About
I am an Argentine sommelier living in France for over a decade. My journey began in Buenos Aires, continued in Paris, and led me to work alongside some of the most inspiring chefs and sommeliers in the world.
I was the first woman to take on the role of Executive Beverage Director at Groupe Pic, a challenge that expanded my vision far beyond wine. What fascinates me is how every drink —wine, sake, coffee, tea, or spirits— can engage in dialogue with gastronomy and with people.
I do not believe in rigid categories: I value diversity, sensitivity, and respect for those behind each bottle or product. I see myself as part of a global community that pursues hospitality, coherence, and excellence, while keeping alive the curiosity and humility that brought me here.

Argentina Reloaded
Reloaded
Argentina Reloaded was born as a shared idea with Studio Courtois: an itinerant journey to showcase the diversity of Argentine wine in the world’s gastronomic capitals. I see it as a cultural project rather than a commercial one, because the aim is not just to sell bottles but to open conversations about identity, sustainability, and coherence. In every city, I am joined by winemakers who tell their own stories as we present a selection of wines in tastings for local industry professionals —sommeliers, importers, restaurateurs, and journalists— as well as in public events, pouring more than forty wines by the glass.
It is a celebration of Argentine wine as part of global gastronomy, in dialogue with different cuisines and palates, with the conviction that our diversity is our greatest strength.
BOOK
Crónicas del Vino Argentino
One day we decided to get into a truck and travel across the country to listen to those who make wine where it is born. Together with Gabriel Dvoskin and Ana Armendáriz, we set out on a journey that became both chronicle and portrait. We wanted to understand the soils, the altitude, the plants and animals that coexist with vineyards; to witness the resilience of those who recover abandoned vines or work in extreme conditions; and to capture the ways people break molds to keep going.
The conversations, the photographs, and the landscapes taught us that wine is much more than a drink: it is culture, it is landscape, it is resistance and also hope. That experience marked me, reminding me that to truly understand a wine, you must stand where it begins.
